Facilitices

All of our stables at Keith Harte Bloodstock are mare and foal quality stables including 2 large foaling boxes for mares that require a bit more room. We have hopes for the near future to add another stable block to the yard specifically large mare and foal boxes. 

Our horse walker was built in 2021, it is a 6-horse walker which is fully rubber matted on the inside, as well as electric partitions for safety of the horses if needed. The walker has a variety of speed settings from a very slow walk to a forward trot, this enables us to exercise the horses correctly. 

All of our fencing was re-done in 2023, correct post and rail fencing with fully gated paddocks that are contracted in for full support were put in on all of our fields for maximum stagey of horses. All fencing also has electric on the inside of the rails in-order of safety making sure to horse will not escape. 

Our modern Monarch branded stocks, allow for safe veterinary practices to be done onsite during breeding season. 

The All-Weather Turn out pen was built in 2022, it was a decision that allowed us the chance to be able to let all horses a few hours of turn out a day when the weather may sometimes permit grass turnout. It was also built as a training aid for yearlings for lungeing and hand walking. 

On Mill Farm we have 3 large barns. At Keith Harte bloodstock we love to be able to have horse live in a natural environment therefore we designed for the large barns so that we could allow mares to have a herd environment and socialise with other horses as horse welfare is very important to the whole team.
