Spending many weekends as a young girl at race meetings in Ireland Eileen was struck by the racing bug at an early age.    Her passion for horses continued throughout her life and she eventually turned this into a successful career with her husband when they set up Keith Harte Bloodstock Ltd.  Breeding and selling thoroughbreds filled their days but the young people coming into the industry was something Eileen and her team concentrated on.  Taking on apprentices and work placements and working as a mentor with Women In Racing became Eileen’s new passion and focus.

Assistant Stud Manager

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Equine Science Degree (Honours) from the University of Limerick and spent her work placement in Lane’s End Farm USA. Sarah then spent a season in Derrinstown Stud working with the yearlings during sales prep. From a young age Sarah’s career path was established. She returned to Lane’s end for a further three years gaining valuable experience in all aspects of the farm. Sarah joined Keith Harte Bloodstock over 3 years ago to build on the skills I have acquired in the US’. We enjoy growing the business together with Sarah and the great team around us.
